hey all...i know its been ages, I have been so busy, yeh not a good enough excuse, but hopefully everything is back on track for a wee while and i will attempt to post more often.

Heres a few shots of why i was missing in action....CHA.....i didnt get to go, but i did have the privildge to make some awesome projects for Fynmark and with a little WOW addons. These new ranges from Bella and Ruby Rock-it are sooooo noice. I loved have the chance to play with them before release.
Seems everyone who went to CHA had a ball this year and lots of new yummy product is slowly making its way to Delights now.

This Ruby Rock-it range is called 'August Moon', its so pretty and girly and inks so nicely too.
These are 2 shots of Liv and Ali from christmas morning, browing up fast my girls are!...way too fast!

this frame was on display at CHA showing the new papers availabe in the range, along with a mix of yummy embelishments and flowers

here is a WOW 12x12 free standing filigree frame, that i decorated for the display.

a printers tray...using the 'august moon' range and some old photos of the girls at michaels wedding. I have used a few WOW chipboard frames and leaves.

I love this photo of Liv, she insists on wearing a shower cap to the bath, it saves the complaining when it comes to brushing the wet hair, so al good. this is the 'august moon' range again...fussy cutting galore and lots of ink.

and they were put together for the display on the Fynmark stand.

from me.....ooh another this month! lol

Here is a really nice (old) photo of me and my baby brother. I have used a Bella! large flower, trimmed it and scattered the petals through the page. I love these flowers, way cool on a page with a small photo, or use them on a OTP. I have spritzed the flower and the page with gold flicks. The WOW chipboard filagree butterflies have vintage ink and inka gold paste smeared on them....and that black is chalk used with a mask!

On this page I have used a WOW personalised title...."butt sliding at Selwyn 2011"...a new sport invented by Tom and Liv when we were on our annual snow trip. Basically they were too lazy to carry the toboggans to the top of the hill, so they slid on their butts down the hill!.
The title has dimentional piant in black and white..then heat gun dried to get some bubbles, then edged with vintage ink. Fun stuff that paint, makes a real 3d effect on your chipboard. The snowflakes are WOW too, and they have been kindy glitzed, then vintage inked and have a Prima centre added.

This page has a photo of my nerds....quiet time at Selywn after a huge day at the snow. Im not so sure I am a fan of technology for recreation for the kids...but it sure keeps them quiet!...Ipod touches and iphones proved a distraction for tired babies!!!.

This beautiful chipboard is a WOW flourish, just simply vintage inked. The papers are Bo Bunny.

...and just to finish I made a card (OMG lol)....This is a fab range from Bella! "keepsake' and the flowers are from Bella too....these are such great adds to a page or card.
Not quite sure what I am using this card for, but I will just add the sentiment to the tag when I need it.

yeh i know its been a while
But i have been wayyyyy busy...

Think I might just share a few layouts and not bore you with all the details ! lol

I went trolling through my mums old photos albums a few weeks ago and scanned some oldies of me and the family from the years gone past. Its fun to go back and scrap a few oldies, I do love the antique vintage look.

Here I have combined my two design teams products, the new Bella! large flowers (they are spectacular) and some WOW chipboard. Both the flourish and circle have been simply inked with vintage photo ink. The photo is ME at 2months old.

This page is of me again....I am about 3 years old, its in the front yard at mum and dads...and for those local friends, that Mt Warrigal Primary School being built in the background!. This is the new Bella is 'keepsake' range along with the new flowers.

This page has a photo taken at my shops retreat in September, its one in a reoccurring theme shots with the Scrapgirls.( for a good time phone Kylie). These girls are a fun part in my life, I enjoy my time with them so much, they give me nothing but laughs and good times. This one has me, Kylie, Sami and Joh with our tree hugging theme. I have used some WOW chipboard here, the fence is inked softly, the leaves are misted with MR Huey green mist. The flowers are from Bella, and the rest is from Studio Calico.

This page is another old photo of my grandmothers, both these beautiful ladies have left this world, but are very much in my life. They were both strong willed and very clever ladies who taught me how many lessons that have made my life full. This is a combo of Bella and WOW again. Using the light pole and remember title with vintage ink, dimensional paint and then gold spray, dried with a heat gun. I do love the effect. The flowers is a Bella large one that I have added some vintage ink.

...............and just to finish with. Those who know me well know how big football was in my world for many many years. I have always been a strong Manly ( & Warilla ) supporter and through thick and fine I have stood strong for the mighty seaeagles...this year we both won ourselves the first grade premierships...hence those sundays in september brought awesome news for me.!

mode here for the best retreat ever!!

Scrapbooking Delights and Scrap Savvy have a combined retreat in september and I am busy getting everything sorted. There are a few spots left if you would like to join us. Buzz me at the shop for details, trust me, its a fab retreat with heaps of challenges and fun.

I have also been busy with christmas...yep thats right, scary as it sounds at Bella, we are preparing for christmas releases and its full steam ahead with the yummy new stuff....you will see it in store very soon!.

And ..... i am very excited that I am teaching on stage!! (WT!!)...yeh...on stage!! at the Better Homes and Gardens Home Show at the end of September. I will be demonstrating three awesome christmas cards for the 3 days of the show and then I get to spend the afternoon doing make and takes on the Spotlight stand. So if you are coming to the show, make sure you pop in and say hi! ( i will be needing a few friendly faces!)

So with that and lots with POD going on atm...I have been a little slack at both blogging and scrapping for my personal stuff. But heres a few to share:

This first is a page without paper...lots of blobs of Gesso and glimmermists and glitter paint. using my favourite, a WOW circle and also a WOW flourish. It the 3 kids at the snow, proudly showing the snowman they built this year. These photos taken each year, show just much they grow.....too fast,too quick!

At Camp Mojo this year, i met for the first time Susan Longman, sister of Wendy Smith ( who have known for a while)..I really dont know how to explain how when you meet someone for the first time and it feels like you have been their friend for ages!.We, three, have the same sense of humor and crazy outlook on life I think. I had a absoulte ball at Mojo and look forward to my retreat where the girls are making another appearance......and soon i hope to get myself to Tassie for a return visit!

I have used, again!, a WOW circle and a rose. I have enhanced the rose with white fabric paint on the edges and then misted with Mr Hueys mist, and then dried and burnt with a heat dryer.

This layout is Miss Alicia, taken on our "dayoff" at Selwyn this year. She has decided that she likes to pose for photos now and this is her 'funny smile'..cute hey! lol

I have used a WOW arch border 'differently' ...and placed it across the middle of the page, inked. along with a butterfly.

...is here..Wow, how fast has this year flown by

I have been slack again and so busy too...but heres a few layouts from me. I was very lucky to attend the Camp Mojo last month in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by so many awesome chicks and spectacular scrapbookers from all over Australia.
I must admit I didnt scrap too much, but had the best retreat for a long time, just having fun, which is what life is all about...isnt it???

This is a layout of Alicia, dancing at Christmas in her new fairy clothes. A kaiser doily and Prima stem along with some WOW chipboard corners.

This is a layout of my grandfather, I did this layout at Camp Mojo, funnily enough the first I have done of him, and yes i did shed a little tear rmembering this man, who I love with all my heart. I lost him when i was 11 yrs old and can still remember so very clearly how much he loved me and the fun times we had together. I have used a bit of masking, and a WOW frame.

Heres another 'old' photo...this is Thomas and my nephew, Jak...prob not even a year old at Nana Cookies hose, wanting to go for a swim no doubt!...How time flies, seems like yesterday. You can so clearly see their personalities on their faces here at such a young age too...Love this shot!
I have used a WOW cogs boarder and the individual cogs too.

This page was done at Mojo too...its a photo of me and my little brother, john....and I know that the journalling is hard to read, but it is so true. We have always been best friends, never had a fight, either as little kids or adults ( excluding that gf of his we didnt agree on!! lol)...and We are always there for each other always.

Another Mojo challenge page.....I think this was Prima and Lace and Sanding...but I would have to ask Peta, as i couldnt remember anything!....Its a photo of Maddison, all dressed up pretty, as usual.

A page of Miss Ali..capturing her soft side. I have used a WOW corner flourish, along with pearls and vines.

A page of Thomas and Olivia from down the snow last year. I have used a WOW large frame, with roller doodle of ink on it...and lots of hand sewing, even the title is hand sewn!.

At Mojo...we had a recycle challenge......so just to be different! ( what me!!).....I went table to table, scrapper to scrapper and got a small piece of 'rubbish' or off cut from them. Then added them all to this Tim Holtz configurations tray. It was so much fun meeting and stealing the rubbish.....everything from old photos to lolly packets!

.......and then everyone at Mojo signed the back for me!

Another trip down memory lane......A page of me as a babe in my dads arms...a place I always felt safe. Again, yes i had another tear or two doing this page...( what is that about I say!..getting soft!!)
I have added a WOW chipboard butterfly.

Here is a page of my POD....lots of 'stuff' here..... and usuing a WOW circle and mini frame and ink.

I will finish with this page, that I did at Scrapgirls Retreat in July using the xmas challenge pack, although its not a chrissy photo, its actually Liv at Halloween, when she discovered that she actually likes donuts! I have added a WOW flourish that has been misted very black.

...I have just realised that nothing here is in any order, but anywhoooo thanks for popping in.

now...cause i have been slack

anywhoooo...just a few layouts from the Long Point retreat...(not too many..and those who know me, know seven is a huge amount for me from a retreat these days!..I have too much fun, laughing, chatting and catching up to scrap)
And so here they are.....in no particular order....All contain WOW chipboard

This is a photo of Tom and Keke..I have used a Hambley screen print as a overlay with lots of stitching. These two were born on the same day, kelly is toms godmum and sometimes, we often think he is her kid, they are very alike. I have used a WOW chip circle and butterfly with as usual the old fav....Tim Holtz Vintage photo ink.

Another photo of new baby girl, Maddison. Here I have used a WOW flourish frame and a few of the chipboard doves, simply inked and added a Prima stem. ( as they say, when in doubt..add Prima!)

A quickie that was actually done at the end of retreat ( and yes i know the buttons are naked, this shall be fixed as soon i finish typing)....Its a photo of my fav drink..purple Vok. I have added a WOW owl and flouirsh, bit of ink and coloured the owls belly with texta and then glossy accents.

Whooooo Love you...little Miss Ali, how fast this angel is growing. Heres I have added a WOW flourish, sprayed white with Mr Hueys mist ( love their coverage on chip), and a Owl, whom i coloured in and then glossy accented.

...and talking of angels...heres my Olivia. This page was our 45 min challenge at the retreat, funny how a time limit challenge can make you work quicker ...lol. These chipboard roses from WOW come in 2 pieces, the bottom solid piece, i have sprayed with a grey glimmermist and the top are hueys red mist. I love this effect especially with the pearls. Heres a little close up.

These two page are using Bellas new 'paper girl' range. they are fun and bright and for obvious reason make me smile...as do the 2 princess above dancing in the garden, and the beautiful photo of Maddy in the layout below.

A quick layout using the Bella new 'paper boy' range, of Tom when he was about 3 yrs old. A fun thing i like to do sometimes is to grab some old photos of years go by and scrap the darling little son i used to have....Have i mentioned yet how 11 is a painful age!!! lol

This page of baby Maddison is a cute one of her playing peek a boo under a hood. Lots and lots of ink all over this page to make it look a wee bit vintage. Some handmade roses and a WOW chipboard circle with flourish and small name plate. These name plates are so delicate and pretty, they make it easy to layer some chip for effect.

This last layout has already made its way to the internet via the WOW blog, but i really like it, so i will share it here too. Its the newest 12x12 frames from WOW, simply inked on top of a Studio Calico paper and some handmade an distressed roses on a WOW chipboard flourish....and a small photo of Miss Ali that I snapped of her without her knowing ( you get some lovely shots like that) at Toms birthday party.

So that will have to do for now....hope you enjoyed passing by
I am off to retreat with Scrap Girls this weekend to teach.....so hopefully I may have a few layouts to share on my return!! ( but dont hold your breath...we do a lot of chatting when we are together)

just a few to share

...sorry for being so slack, I have been so busy with dt stuff, that cant be used here, that my personal scrapping has sufferred a wee bit.

Anywhooooo...heres a couple of layouts to share.

This first page is a rather old photo of Ella....the innocence in her eyes is so pretty, love it. I have use WOW chipboard, its the cutest little light stand, which has just been inked with tim holtz vintage photo ink. The added a random sleection of embellishments. The title is 'sweet', which this little lady sure is!.

And this page is a close up shot of the only photos I got at easter, of our new baby in the family, Maddison Louise. Isnt she the prettiest little girl, just like a 'baby doll'. I have added some tiny WOW chipboard flowers, inked with black ink and tied with floss, and a filagree chipboard heart.

The only other page i have finished this week that i can share will be over at the WOW blog on my next post on Monday...so pop over there to have a look if you like.

Life has been wild and crazy here for the last few weeks, happy and sad. I lost a old friend, who was buried during the week and it certinally makes one think about your now!. So I will finish with a poem that was told at the funeral, maybe it might make you think about some changes you would like to make, as it did me.

I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend.
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning..to the end.
He noted that first came her date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears, 1964-2011
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years.
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth..
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not, how much we own;
The cars..the house..the cash,
What matters is how we live and love

...hahahaa!! I know its been a while, been extremely busy with ( well im not really sure actually) life i guess!

We have had a birthday or two, lots of work to cover, hospital visits, the flu and the manflu!!....I have managed to get lots of pages done, although many cant be shown yet. Here is a couple of layouts to share.

This is a cute shot of Ali, at Toms birthday party...smiling for the camera (i remember when she didnt want to smile for the camera and look what we get now! lol ) The chipboard is WOW . This is a new flourish and is place on top of a circle from the 12x12 circle pack.

Anther page, this time using a WOW personalised chip title....here is Greg, Tom and Uncle Lauire, doing what they love to do, sitting in the boat at Lake Conjola relaxing. We never do manage to get many feeds from these trips, but.....they do come back happier!

This photo is from the school photo shoot i did at Toms school for the mothers day craft. I love it. So i used it for a birthday page for my now big 11 year old!!! The gorgeous tree has had a misting and coloured in the leaves with pencils and then covered with gloss. This is one of the newest designs from WOW.

Easter at Lake Conjola..heaps of fun at the egg hunt, even if it was raining and bloody freezing cold!. This layout has the same flourish and circle combo as the first one, just a boy version!. We had a lovely easter break, meeting our newest family member Miss Maddison Louise, whom you will meet via photos on layouts very soon.

Here is a little Easter card i made using WOW butterfllies and fancy easter egg...coloured with texta, covered with gloss medium, and then sprinkled with micro beads!

...and i havent posted for such a long time.... So heres a bunch of layouts that you havent seen: These two are from the kit i got at Savvy ...great kits with lots of ymmuy embellishments to play with. I love this photo of Liv and Ali with the bead in their hair and just chilling. another page using the Savvy kit, this is of the girls feeding birds at our caravan at conjola. I have added a WOW leaf flourish, it has been softly inked for effect.

Over at Savvy , Anthea issued a challenge to use one page and nothing else ( except cardstock)...heres my attempt. .

This layout is of my 'special' friends!!!! Diana and Natalie.... mmmmm...wonder why?????...they are fun, keep me smiling, laughing actually!.....and partay like no-one else!...love them!

On this page I have used the WOW circle and corner flourish, which have been coloured in with texta and then covered with paper tole gloss.

My friend Tanya Kember from TMK Photography took a whole bunch of photos of me, which I actually like!!......

This layout has papers and stuff from Savvy March kit, and WOW fence, frame and flourish added.

This is a fav of mine, its Tom with his besties, Jas and Tyso... dress up at book week, Jas was a rapper, Tyso was security...and Tom was Mickey Mouse from Fantasia..( you cant see them, but i sewed mouse ears on his hat!)

The 'mates' title and banner are all WOW . They have been coloured with black texta, glossed and then using a white gell pen, kaed stitched around the edges.

Carley and jack popped into the shop on saturday for a photo shoot with TMK, and jack did me a drawing.....I couldnt throw it out, had to make a page to show him one day.

I have used the Savvy kit and a WOW flourish that has been glimmermisted.

Another page of Tom's creative kitchen recipes.....Pear tart with lots of brown sugar, very yummy desert.

This page has papers from Savvy March Kit and some very cool WOW chipboard., just inked for dimension.

This page has an old photo of me and Imogen Belle, on Australia Day last year when she was a wee babe. I have used the new Ruby-Rock-it paper range 'Avalon", love the colours in the range, so pretty and that flower ribbon is to die for!.

How fast do these little babes grow...Immy is now running around, chatting and is the most beautiful ranga i know.

i know, but my computer went AWOL, and then i had to replace him with a better model, who apparently doesnt like to share his USB slots with anyone!!!...ok all fixed now...so here are a few pages i have scrapped since we last spoke...

My dt work at Scrapbook Savvy means i get a great kit each month from Sarah Ward This month I was given a bunch of stuff from all the kits that were available. The page above is using some of it along with WOW chipboard flourish and LOVE title.
I love this photo of Tom with my mum, they really enjoy spending time together and its obvious with the smiles on their faces here.

This page is of my nephew Max....who turned 9 this month...OMG where did that time go, I was in the delivery room when this delightful little guy made his entrance ( a speedy one it was too!) into the world!. He is not just our baby, he is also my godson and he makes me smile all the time.

This page was done with some of the yummy stuff for the Savvy kits.

This page is for my February Cyber Crop Challenge at Savvy.....These challenges are so much fun, pop over and have a look , you could win a prize.

Mine this month was to scrap a page without photos, using someones name and finding words to match the letters in that name, that remind you of the person.

I have done this page for Thomas, my plan is to have it as the left side of a double, the right side will be the dreaded school photo ( they are so hard to scrap with interest!)..this page has words and phrases that remind me of Thomas, right now.

I have used the new Kaiser school range, and a WOW chipboard pile of books and an apple, cloured with creme chalks.

I just got the new Kaiser 'nans favourite' papers in the shop and couldnt help myself playing with them last night.

This is a photo of Tom and his nachos creation on New Years Eve at Conjola....mmmm nothing like soggy microwaved lettuce i say!!

This is a really nice range, great colours , I have added a WOW cutlery set and some 7gypsys stickers.

One of my favourite brands is 7gypsys...here i have used the newly released 'lille' range...new in at Delights too.

I distressed and inked, added a doily and the gate, key and lock are WOW too.

The rubon is a new Kaiser, it reads:

Hey All

heres a couple of layouts Ive done this week.

The first is a photo taken by Tanya Kember of Tom, dressed as a mad chef, at the Halloween party at our place. I have used the camping paper from October Afternoon and the sun, moon and stars and the corner flourish are WOW chipboard, coloured with 24kt gold, silver and copper leafing pens. Then I added a large circle of hand sewing..... and some of the new sparkling thickers,

These two pages are from Aussie Day at Natalie house.

The first one is of Natalie cooking our dinner, snags on the bbq ( what else!!) This page was a blind scrap at Scrapbook Savvy. I have added a WOW chipboard flower flourish that has been inked with Tim Holtz vintage photo ink.

We had a great day, drop-ins for other friends, fair bit of drinking and lots of laughing.

....all the 'perfect ingredients' for a perfect aussie day.

This page is the Savvy 12345 challenge that I have issued for February...go over to Savvy forum and have a go at it.

On my sample page I have used WOW chipboard circle ( one of my fav product!), fake stitched them with journalling pen and added a WOW aussie title map with Mr Hueys white mist all over them.

Its a page of my perfect day, perfect ingredients fresh peanuts, cruiser and bubbles!!!

This first layout is of Ali. I have used the new Kaiser paper range, called 'timeless', i love it, added a yummy WOW flourish that has been inked and creme chalk used on the flowers. She is our beauty for sure.

MY boy is growing so fast...he insists on helping his dad with the lawns, and there isnt ever an argument from the dad!!... I have used a WOW circle ( i do love them!!), along with WOW frame for journalling and a WOW title., I have inked them and then fake stitched with pen.

This layout, I did today whilst scrapping with nat and tan in the shop, air on and wifi...woohoo who could ask for more, since its bloody 40 degrees outside!!. I love photos of Tom, when he isnt really posing for the camera, and this show a very thoughtful boy....wonder what he is thinking???.

I used a WOW circle ( again!!!), and a WOW double heart flourish, both are inked and then i have added 18kt gold pen to them for highlights.

The midnight crop at Scrapbooking Delights was fun as usual, with great company, laughs and giggles. Whist others scrapped, I'm not really sure what i was doing, hahaha...but i did end up finishing one page.

Before that...since I have to upload them so they count for The ST Challenge....heres a layout from during the week for the Scrapbook Savvy cyber challenge. I issued a challenge for Aussie Day to used the very aussie word 'bugger' as the title of a layout.....pop over to Savvy to check out all the challenges, its fun!

so heres mine....a bit of a bugger, poor Tom whilst having a lovely game of aussie rules in the backyard...but didnt take long to repair and get back into it. I have used a fair bit of Hueys mist (love it) and the footy, admit ticket and cogs are WOW chipboard.

...so heres the layout from Friday night crop.

Its a page of Ali on Christmas day in her fairy wings and looking so innocent. I have used the WOW chipboard flower frame and 'Alicia' is a personalised chipboard name from WOW too...( avaiable on order at Delights). There are some Prima flowers there too and a 'flourish with bling' leaf...and a huge pin

There is a fair lot of detail in the page, so I have added some shots of close-ups. The flowers on the frame were painted with dimentional puff paint, added some micro beads, then sprayed with Tattered Angels glimmer chalk, then dried to almost burning with the embossing heat tool. And yes i did sew the buttons on ( i hate naked buttons)

i doodled the stitching around the edges of the flowers on the frame and added pearls.

The first layout is of Ali at Talbingo, eating breakfast with Toms snow goggles on, she is such a funny creature. I have added a WOW flower flourish with an extra flourish added to base to lengthen it. The flower has been decorated with puff paint, then glimmermisted over the top, the flourish and leaves, I have used Hueys mist.

Heres a layout using the WOW 'believe' chip title......for one about my special friend diana, who brought me back a very yummy gift from her last trip away. Also used is a WOW circle and WOW double hearts. The title is " I believe friends are wonderful" and i sure do, I am blessed with so many very lovely and thoughtful friends.

My 52 pages for the last two weeks....Week #2...the boys and movies, we have hit the theatre a lot more this holidays than we usually do. We have seen Tangled, Yogi Bear and off to see Mega Mind tomorrow.

Week #4...my new i-phone...what can I say, I used to giggle at how everyone with one said they were in looove with their phone. Totally understand now!...fun stuff ( a very long funny story to how I ended up with the iphone 3...( and a i-phone 4 at home in a box). But its far to long to repeat here!

This final layout for today is of Tom camping...out the front of our caravan down at Conjola. I have used the WOW flower and bird with ink on this page, love how you can layer it over a photo because its so delicate. Tom managed to get the tent up without help and had 3 nights sleeping with nature, as he put it! funny bugger!

Well thats it for now, really busy, hope to actually scrap something this week.

I am posting this week...I am on a good run!

I was working at the shop today and it was a little quiet, so I got to play with paper and glue!

This first layout is using the new October Afternoon 'campfire' range, which is on its way today to the shop...its so lovely and fabulous for those summer camping holidays. This is a shot of Greg and Tom at Bass Point Lookout.....I have added a WOW chipboard leaf flourish, using the embellishments from the campfire range, a Kaiser doilie and lots of vintage inks

....and then I started to put together some 'mini kits' for the shop...I am going to do some myself, but also get some 'guests' to put a page kit together and then they will be available for purchase in the store. The kits will have all needed product ( excluding alphabet) and a photos of the layout by the guest...so all you will have to do is take it home and page lift!

This first is a photo of Liv at halloween, her grubby face is still the cutest ever!!...

back again...goodness me!!! this hasnt been easy today...and yet people who know how technically challenged I am , will be in fits of laughter!...it was probably me hey!

Ok so, back to the pages........

Here is the title page for my 2011...52 weeks of me album. I love this photo, again taken by Tanya Kember at Bulli graveyard....as Lisa once said 'very serene', maybe its the surroundings or maybe its because i am happy living my life like I am and that makes you look and feel this way!

My title says it all.....'its my life, now or never'...a quote from the great Bon Jovi, love this song and the words really rate high in my life plan at the moment. This is my year to go for it....as Jon says........" I'm not gonna live forever, I just wanna live while I'm alive"

...and therefore I started the year with a bang.............Lake Conjola for New Years Eve, with my dads side of the family, heaps of wonderful extended family and lots of friends old and new, quite a mixture and add alcohol and great music and some fireworks and the night was awesome ( to say the least!)

I think Greg took this shot of me on the table dancing, and having a sip of what is probably just special lemonade.
We took the kids to see the firewoks at 9pm, then they played and so did we...and to end the night, a bunch of old footy mates showed up with guitar in hand and sang and laughed until around the 4:30am mark.

And as i follow the calendar for my '52...this is Week 1.

hello 2011

my promise is to scrap more, play more and blog more......and stress ( wtf i dont really do that!) less!

I have been issued a layout challenge by Sharryn Thomson and hence I shall be uploading my layouts here to keep the count proper.

Lets start with my first layout of the year.........awesome photo that Tanya kember took of the boys at Bass Point...and how cute is that WOW chipboard clock, so delicate, so not like those boys!!...Lots of ink, distressing and hand stitching.

Crop night on Friday at Delights and this is my first layout at the shop for 2011......love these photos of my boy at the end of year school ceremony....his class preformed "hey Mr DJ"...how much this boy of mine is growing up body , mind and soul is amazing...this was a tear moment for mummy and my AS friends will understand.

On this page I have used the BELLA record diecut, and it goes off the edge of the page, and then i trimmed the 12x12 card to fit in the album...lots of mist and old music paper. A WOW title in chipboard and the cutest ipod from WOW too.

And then it was time to finish 2010...my 52 pages of me album...I have absolutely loved doing this project and looking forward to this years. Here is the last page for 2010 album.....Our christmas at Colleens for lunch. See that cute reindeer ( Sam made it and i sell them in the shop!) I love our christmas with our huge extended family, the only way to celebrate....lots of laughs, great food and kaos reins...love it xxx

I've got a few minutes before the girls get here for a crop, so I thought I would share some layouts.

This page is Tom on the day we had christmas with Gregs family...he was spinning himself quite dizzy at the park!. I have used Glitz Design 'scarlet' range, looove the bright colours, and theres a cool flourish from WOW too.

How fast this man-child is growing....almost ther when it comes to aunty kim. This layout is Glitz 'scarlet' too..along with a WOW chipboard edge that i have misted and then cut to use as a corner.

Over at Scrapbook Savvy, where I am on the DT ( still learning my jobs!)...I had to issue a New Year Challenge...mine is to scrap a page with photos that show a change in you from the start of the year to now. Surprise surprise, I actually had 2 photos of me, both taken by Tanya Erskine, that I dont mind.!! On this page I have used Cosmo Cricket '1934'...love the range along with a yummy flourish from WOW....there is still heaps of time to join in this challenge, check out the Savvy site and you could win a great prize.

As a DT member at Savvy, I get a kit a month to play with.....for December I was given the girl kit, it was fun to play with girly stuff...and yet I managed to get my boys in there somewhere

This is a page of Tom, that i took when we went christmas tree hunting...a tradition of ours, to race through the trees in the mud and slop trying to be the first to spot "the" tree. I have used Ruby Rock-it christmas range here with a background of gold 'make it like stone' spray paint over a screen print of a brick wall. The texture of this page is awesome.

ooops...prob not the most politically correct title, but i couldnt stop laughing and knew the chicks in the photo would laugh too!. This is a snap from the Scraploot Christmas Party with 3 of my fav crop buddies...Sarah, Natalie (or is it Nicole!), and Chrissy. We had such a fun night celebrating the silly season....the drive home was even funnier ( but someone forgot to get their camera out).

On this page, I have used Harry Potter paper that Scraploot just got in with some Bella paper, Jillibean Soup embellishments and WOW chipboard...thats an awesome HO HO HO hey!

Both these pages were done at a random crop night at sarahs last sunday night after 2 HUGE nights out with the girls at various nightspots. I was pleasantly surprised that I actually had the energy and the mojo to scrap.

This is the new Kaiser English Rose paper, with a WOW chipboard heart and flourish tree, so delicate and pretty. I love this photo, which was taken by Tanya Kember at a photo shoot of us all in November.

As time goes on, I am sure you will all see many more of her work, she is a very talented chick with a camera.

As 2010 comes to an end, I would love to pass to you and yours...a jolly Christmas, a huge fun New Years Eve....but most of all, keep safe and be happy.........

a quick pop in

i thought it was prob time to pop in quick and say hi to all...its been such a busy month, and I have been a wee bit slack in regards to scrapping...although i have made quite a few presents and cards this year.
So here is a chandelier from WOW cut out of chipboard. This was fun to play with, lots of paint covered hands and patches on the grass out the front of the shop!.
I sprayed it black, used gesso and glitter paint for the candles. Added pearls, lace and spiderwebs...a few WOW mini spiders with glitter, black ribbon, deep red roses, pearl pins and black raffia....then sprayed the lot with 24carat gold spray paint.

its really a very hard project to photograph...but heaps of fun to make.

i will hang this in the shop over the tables where we all scrap...and on the bonus side, by adding spiderwebs....no need to dust!!!! ( hehehe)

christmas madness

its getting closer...and i thought i was getting almost sorted...and i was wrong!!!

anywhooooo.....as school ends early, the boys will go down the caravan for a week and leave me to my madness and I shall be ok by the big day.

There is lots of crops and parties on in december, so that just adds to the madness.

The shop is full on at the moment...heres a tag that WOW have given us for our christmas week, this has been painted, cuttlebugged, buffed with silver, microbeads and mist ....and i have used in on a page with the new BELLA! paper, both kindly donated for our classes by Suzanne and Joanna.

...and just cause i have to get some Halloween done before i can really get into the christmas spirit...heres a look at the cover of my WOW mini album, with the awesome personalised chip title that WOW made for me and everyone who came to our party!!!

about time

....that i posted again..i guess

its been a crazy ride here, what with the illness that floored me and is still taking its toll. The shop is full of stock and busy with classes and crop, Toms school is full-on and of course now they tell me that christmas is on its way!!! So I guess its time to become jolly and start some of those celebrations....

I have 2 layouts that i did on saturday night at Sarahs, which was a complete 'i got nothing to do' visit and finding her and Natalie there and a bottle of 'special lemonade' and hence i stayed..and scrapped.

This first ( and very purple) layout is using stuff from one of Savvys kits from ages ago...its of me and Sar at my 46th birthday celebration night out, which was huge. And believe it or not, these are the only photos taken all night ( small bit of disappointment! - as there were actually about 20 odd people there!
I have used a WOW chipboard flourish and name plate...and the reason there are small photos is, they arent that flattering for either of us...but OMG we had fun!

The next layout is off Afternoon Tea from the 2010 Savvy-Delights Retreat at Kiah Ridge...gotta say, no matter what other faults they have...their sunday arvo tea is so worth the visit. And a quick plug here - that I am taking bookings for the retreat in 2011, so ring and get a spot....fun will be had!

On this layout, is beautiful chipboard branch with leaves from WOW...Jillibean Soup Alphabet and the cute little butterfly are handmade crochet ones from a lady that Tanya knows....you can get them at Delights.

I am at the shop at the moment trying to decide what to use first...OMG this new stuff is delicious..and i also have lots of new painty type things to play with, some gold, silver, pewter rub finishes, de Colourant and crackle...so i am in heaven...mmmm where to start.

Gotta go....need to play....

this weekend

It was a huge weekend here, crops friday and saturday night and a card class on saturday afternoon too....heaps of fun.
I have been really busy with some dt work, that cant be shown and a few chrissy gifts, that also must be kept secret ( for obvious reasons!)
Heres a few quick layouts done over this weekend...this is one of me and Sami Cronin at the Scrapgirls retreat in October. Kylie, Sami and Jo run an awesome retreat if anyone is searching for a fun break.....almost as good as Scrapbooking Delights and Savvys retreat...by the way if you want to join us for that, bookings are being taken now.

So as you can see Sami and I had a fun day and posed beautifully for photos!!!....This is a layout using random stuff from my stash and WOW chipboard, the little tree with paper covered flowers and a cute little flourish, lots of mist and pearls!!

The other layout I managed to get done this weekend is of Ali at the halloween party. Tanya Erskine-Kember took this photo and if you want some awesome family shots taken, I would highly recommend her. Give me a buzz and I will pass her details onto you.
On this layout, I have used a WOW chipboard flower stem, lots of different coloured mists, a WOW name plate and a butterfly, these have been inked.

Its a big Sale week at the shop this week, so best get my act together and open the doors. I have just received a parcel from the postie and its full of new WOW, including the coolest pumpkin mini album...so guess what im going to be playing with...as Tanya took so many awesome photos from our party, I have to use them all.

hey all

been a short while, but OMG...i had or should i say still have it lingering...the nastiest flu ( yep I am calling it a flu) that i have ever had....probably worse as i dont usually get struck down with this type of illness....it was almost as bad as a 'manflu' hahahaha.

So..... hence i havent been scrapping for a week or so, although i did finish some christmas projects for BELLA! this weekend, you can see them soon...the new Ruby Rock-it is so yummy, get a look at it real soon.

So we had Halloween, as usual, and Tanya took some awesome snaps for me, this one she printed in advance, so i scrapped it in the shop. I have used the Pink Paislee 'hocus pocus' paper, with Webster flower strip and the web and the name plate are WOW chipboard.

This is a page with Tanya and I, dressed in our costumes for the party. Love how my friends and their kids participated in our annual party...it was a fun night with everyone. POD was in his element dressed as a mad chef...you will see those photos scrapped real soon.

short and sweet today...but we have a midnight crop this weekend and I am teaching a Card Class on Saturday at the shop ( spots still available )...so hopefully I will have some more to post soon.

i was lucky enough to have a lovely weekend retreat with the Scrap Girls at Meroo. They are a awesome group of chickies, Kylie, Sami and Jo sure know how to run a retreat, ( great instructions) hahaha....and Kath and Nichol from LSB shop are fun to be around too. I managed to get quite a bit of dt stuff done ( cant show that yet!) and a few extra layouts...and so here they are:
i love this new Bella! rock chick paper and it suits Olivias dance routine so well. This was a page i did in the 45 minute challenge...they are so much fun to get your mojo going!

This is a page i did at the Pink Ribbon crop..what were you doing on: 10/10/2010 at 10 past 10..me i was eating breaky!

this page is a photo i found in mums stuff, of me and colleen, taken in 1969...I have used the Sass Lass mix and mend paper and WOW chipboard corners. She is one my favourite people in the world, i will always adore her xxx.

Tom at 10..scary that he is that old.....lucky he got to it !!!....this page is a lovely shot of tom, that greg actually took. I have added a WOW chipboard flourish and name plate.

These 2 pages were done for the challenge at the retreat, using Echo Park papers and the Scrapgirls "bag of shit" as Kylie like to called them. The top page is Ali as she turns 2, i have added some WOW chipboard, a heart flourish and fairy. I was lucky to win this challenge, and now have a cute 9x9 heidi album to complete.

The botton page is my boy, Tom, with a WOW chipboard title, glimmermisted and painted.

Here is my star chef, making cannelloni, his way...always tastes good but. I have use a WOW chip title and the yummiest big flourish from WOW...love that one.

This page is a memory of a visitor i had one day when i in the shop, misting stuff and this beautiful green butterfly landed, so i snapped a shot...and then he flew away. This stem is WOW and so are the brackets.

Thomas is laughing so loud in this photo, he was the tour guide for one of the walks we took at Wombeyan Caves...and of course as in toms way, it was the long way around. Here i have used the WOW chip title and put it through the cuttlebug, then misted it with Studio Calico Huey mist, great stuff, especially for boys, no glitter!, they are matt finish. It also has a WOW sign post too, and that stem is a Prima!

the last one is a photo i took of tom and his rat...they made a snack in the holidays ( master chef has alot to answer to in our house)...at least it was just cheese and crackers. I have been informed by the boy, that the rats name is Remi, and i must change it!!! lol. These are WOW chip circles and title.

So this is gonna be quick, i am fighting with Optus about my connection at the shop, as it keeps dropping out!!!......so here is a couple of new pages and a shadow box from this week.

Heres a page of little Miss Ali, at Michaels wedding. I have used the new Kaiser homespun range and a WOW corner flourish and name plate, lots of glimmermist and kindy glitz.

This page is of my friend, Diana, she is wearing her 'prize winning' facinator from the retreat this year...clever girl made this out of a brown paper bag!.....We have a shared sense of humor, love of good food and 'special' lemonade, and have often found ourselves laughing like fools, far more than scrapping...but all good i say.

I have used the new Jillibean Soup paper and a WOW butterfly stem and name plate...they are so delicate and perfect for girly pages.

Here is a small shadow box from WOW words or whatever. I have also used the leaf corner and small fairies...lots of layers of glimmermist, lace ( that was once white) and pearls. The flower is a DNA flower, handmade and available in my shop. Of course its a photo of Liv, at Michaels wedding.

Here I am back again!!! this is getting too regular me thinks!!! hhaahaha

anywhoo...we had a fun 12hr crop on Sunday at the shop and I got these 2 pages and OTP frame done, as well as a christmas card class....(watch the shop blog for that if you are interested).

This page is of Tom at Aspects fun day, doing some craft. It was actually a challenge that Lisa Warren and Wendy Smith set each other, with special requirements and i thought i would have a go too. Poor Lisa had it all done and then added ink...which was a no no...so she had to do another page....all in good fun!!!

This a great photo of Tom, and his two mates Tyson and Jason at their schools book parade. Usually they think they are too old for this dress up caper, but this year all insisted on being in on it. Jason was a raper, Tyson was a cop and Tom was Mickey Mouse from Fantasia. They had a great day at the Aspect fun day.

Here's a great WOW project idea for a chrissy gift, just add the santa photo and what grandparent wouldn't be happy with that.

Hey All

Sitting quielty at the shop today, i thought i would do a page of my nephew Max, he absolutely aced the NAP plan exam this year, only got 2 answers wrong in the math section and he was almost unmappable on their little graph, and did fabulous in the english side too. Along with that he has exceeded all expectations for his age in the University exams and in his normal day to day school work.
Both of my nephews are extremely smart kids ( jak got off the map in his NAP plan too and distinctions in the uni tests) , and yet so grotty and painful as boys can be!!!....

We are all very proud of both of them.

I have used WOW chipboard Star boarder and a personalised WOW chipboard name.

here's a layout i did for last months Camp Mojo Challenge...they are soo much fun!

It a page of Tom, writing a 'list' of all the jobs i make him do...(apparently)...he is so funny, this list included things like, washing, ironing and cooking (i wish)..and also cleaning the duck pond, shearing the sheep and making hay in the paddocks!....imagination WHAT!!!

I have used WOW chipboard circles and the WOW sign post...burnt the edges, cause i was bored and added a IKEA tape measure around the edges.

So off now to do some girly pages of Liv and Ali...cause they are so much easier and I have heaps of yummy new PRIMA flowers in store that are calling me to use them.

I am so looking forward to the 12 hour crop tomorrow at Delights, hopefully my mojo is on its way back.... have a good long weekend all

I did some scrapping yesterday with Lisa, Anne and Miss Emeline at the shop and then actually continues with Sar at Savvy last night.

A very favourite photo that i managed to fluke of the kids at Alis birthday party inside the jumping castle...missing the birthday girl, but she wasnt feeling too well.
